In the U.S.
The Porch Light is bringing healing and hope to child victims of domestic sex trafficking. In the United States, there are teenagers who should be in classrooms and youth groups who are being forced to spend their days and nights in motels and dark homes. Florida has the third highest number of reported sex trafficking cases according to the National Human Trafficking Hotline (behind California and Texas). In 2014, The Porch Light opened a safe home where these innocent child victims could find emotional and physical healing.
Give to help us operate our safe home.
The Porch Light is also dedicated to prevention and advocacy efforts to help stop sex trafficking before it needlessly devastates more lives. The Porch Light is possible because of others who are coming alongside the organization to make an impact on these innocent victims. There are opportunities to support The Porch Light by giving, volunteering, hosting drives to collect needed supplies and more.
The Porch Light was founded by Florida Baptist Children’s Homes (FBCH), which has more than 110 years of experience in caring for and making a difference in the lives of children.
The Porch Light is passionate about continuing to help one more child. Through our domestic child care impact, we are changing the lives of orphaned and disadvantaged children in Florida. It’s simple, really: Love Changes Lives.
With respect to services rendered, The Porch Light is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as compliance with all applicable federal and state discrimination laws.
